So for EB-3 we have 1630 from 01, and 8300 from 02 and 12500 from 03..how long would this take to clear given EB 3 allotment??. every year??.
With horizontal spillover, things don't look good for EB3-I in 2009-2010.
However, 2010-2011 things should be great for EB3-I, as EB2-I & C would be pretty close to current (or) current.

Dont do it. Why? you might ask?
Just think, if you use a lawyer you might have to spend another 500 to 1500 bucks. But you will have a no problems in filing (especially with out errors).
We have spent thousands of dollars so far in getting a GC and at this stage dont mess up to save a few paltry bucks.
You may be finding that your lawyers are'nt approachable a this time. But this is the case with everyone, as they are getting hundreds of calls.
Get a lawyer, fill the application and leave blank and stick notes at which ever field you didnt understand. The lawyers will definitely look into the applications and file it quickly. make sure you tell your lawyer to use the overnight courier to file and bill you the same.

I agree with what you are saying. But, we need to compare the taxes too. Not sure of the taxes charged by vonage when compared with teleblend.
even if the taxes are slightly more, vonage gives you 2 months free (save $50) and ships you adapter free, no shipping and activation with a referral. Your referrer gets 2 months free too. If you put this in to mathematics, vonage may come out cheaper than teleblend. Additonally its much more established and bigger VOIP provider.
However teleblend now offers unlimited US, Canada etc only for $99 for 1 year. This is unbeatable as it comes out roughly $8 per month. Good option to consider for those who do not need unlimited india plan.

It's always a good practice to take a receipt notice of any action done by your lawyer & keep that for your records.
When you apply for EAD, soon USCIS will ask you to do fingerprints(BIO-2). I think you missed that part and it might be denied or void as it was left for so long!
You can file for new EAD online at https://efiling.uscis.dhs.gov/efile/InteractionMgr?interactionmgr.interaction=SetupEfo rms×tamp=1127234762990
Create your account & you can file your self with out lawyer's assistance. It's always suggested to file EAD(I-765) & AP(I-131) jointly. You can pay by credit card.
(1) After applying online, you will receive 'Receipt notices' of EAD & AP.
(2) Now a days USCIS will set up an apointment for BIO-2 of EAD.
(3) You have to send supportive documents for Advance Parole, like photos,brief explanation of qualifying for AP...I can give you those sample formats !
Coming to I-485 BIOMETRICS, call USCIS & ask them about BIO. Go to this website & register https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp. You must add I-485,EAD,AP & I-140 receipt numbers like LINXXXX and you will get emails when they get approved. You can also see the changes on 'LAST UPDATED' column, which means your case is touched by an officer. But it's not the confirmation of approval until status message has changed or you got an email.
Go thru these 2 links & familiarize well. Hope your I-140 has approved. Finally these are suggestions only & I am not a lawyer. Consult an immigration lawyer if you have uncanny issues.

My PD: July 2001. I am already waiting 6+ years from start the process(Auto remanded LCA & BEC) and if i have to wait 3+ years for NC then I will cross 10 year mark in process. :D What a terrible process. :rolleyes:

Non immigrant visa number is the number on your non immigrant visa used to enter the US. Someone posted it is the one in Red - mine appears on the right, towards the bottom. The only other numbr is the control number on my visa

The letters are very generic. They can be sent by anyone including GC holders and citizens too. All it costs is a few Dollars! So what are you waiting for you? If you have hired a nanny, make her send one too :)

I cannot renew my Driver's License if I don't have a valid work permit. I doubt whether the Receipt notice is enough for the Drivers License office to issue a new DL. I changed my employer and the new employer may ask for a new one. But I'm hoping that I might get one in less than 3 months. Let's see

He work at client place and client is administered project.The s/w tool is copyright by client.The reason for asking him to come back is that prior to this company he worked for another company for two years. I think we should concentrate on things which are beneficial for everyone - not only EB1-2 or 3 . We should get USCIS to improve efficiency, use all visas, get applications processed according to their PD and not randomly and above all do away with the country limits which is the biggest cause of this retrogression.
When there are so many big issues pending I wonder why not concentrate on them instead.
There are so many people from all EB categories whose I-140 has been pending for more than a year. Shouldn't that be a priority also because without an approved I-140 their GC will also not be approved even if they have a PD from 2001-2002.
There are more important issues at hand here as I see it.

Hi Friends,
I am really sick and tired of my attorney. He is making money out of immigrants but he does not like immigrants based on our dicussion.
I think we are very well educated and can easily take care of 485 filing.
My attorney will charge me at least $3000 for it although I got his referral from AILA. On top of that he delays filing my PERM and 140 and having serious attitude problem.
I can easily take care of 485 filing by myself.
My only and great concern is- Is my attorney can screw up my GC processing if I fire him and file 485 on my own?

Btw, who told you that guys like punjabi and others overbid or bought a house that they cannot afford? They could and still can afford these houses i.e. the monthly mortgage payments; the only thing they cannot do in the current market is to sell it (even at the price at which they bough i.e. break even) and that is why they are stuck with it if/when they decide to move to another city/job - so no point blaming these guys. If you want to blame somebody, blame the banks who appraised the same house at 500k 2 years back which they are appraising at 400k today, there in lies the problem.

They give you loan based on what you bid your house and it is all their fault. If only banks had refused the loan, you wouldn't have bought the house. Is this your logic? ON this org. I am one of them. My PD is Sept 2004 and my labor is approved but I am on EB3 sitting and waiting for I-485 to open up for me. In fact, my guessestimate is that there might be more EB3s here than EB2s but that's something not important right now.
We are going to push for quota raise for all EB GCs, not just EB2 or EB1. Also, the biggest and most critical push is going to be for allowing people to apply for I-485 even during retrogression.

I had already mentioned my EAD status when they had the interview. But after acceptiing it I mentioned it again in the conext of I9 form. Then they said they cant offer me emp;oyment due to my being on EAD.
This is a pretty big company. I understand that H1B is not protected under anti-discrimination for employment, but EAD holders, specifically those with AOS pending, are a protected against employment discrimination.
Does anyone have any links to the above conclusion ? I am so tired of this BS. I have spent long enough in this immigration c**p that if I have leave, might as well leave with a fight.

Friday evn. after 3.00 PM is a good time at your office copier. Don't use - Automatic Document feeder (whatever thay call it - you pile your papers on top and press button); do it the hard way. One paper after another.
Don't comeback and CRY that you Original Approval Notice or I-94 or BC or something like that was stuck in the copier and now damaged.
In the section 11 of the document what should be the text incase you are supporting your spouse and child @100%
