Yeah it's thick, but seriously, I can throw my iPhone 4 and your glasses will crack, not my phone's.
Check out some videos on youtube, saw some people drop weights on the thing. When I bought mine, the lady had her phone in it and threw it to the ground (I shrieked like a lil girl) and low and behold, the phone was fine.
Oh and you can use the clip for a stand as well.

Just get a 25ft Cat5 cable and you'll be set.
I don't think you really need to drop 130 bucks to go wireless in a 12' x 12' room.

Hard to tell, but looks like a spec of dust under the screen to me.
Not possible because the MBA has no cover over the panel?
I have the same, but haven't had a chance to take mine in! 13" Ultimate with a stuck pixel. It was very saddening to find it - although actually it makes no difference to using it...

Hi guys. I bought a 500GB time capsule today and i want to know if this is possible..
I want to be able to access it as an external network drive on both my 10.6 MBP(2010) and my G3 os x 10.2.
Obviously i couldnt use the time machine backup facility on the G3 but i would like to access the files and share between the two

I think 3gs is very smooth, didnt see any lag so far and i am playing with it a lot.
The reason i couldnt buy ip4 is its price here in Turkey, it is around 1300USD.
Hopefully i will switch to iphone 5 in september if i can buy from the UK as simfree version. Are simfree versions available with the first launch? Or they wait carriers to sell enough contracts first?

I really enjoyed it. Definitely kept my attention the whole time.
If I had to pick apart anything I'd say the weakest graphic would be the rit dye packaging folding up at :33-:35 but I thought everything else was very strong and appealing.

I was wondering if I buy their 1tb 27" model, does it have the slot or for me to upgrade my own unit to an ssd later on in the future, I want to keep the SSD and the 1TB drive at the same time. or do I need to order it like that from apple?
I would wait until there is a tear down by ifixit to confirm or refute that. In the past you had to buy brackets and other cables i believe to do this yourself. Its a pain and you may want to wait for TB external SSD drives which would be faster and less of a pain than opening up your iMac

Cool. So far I have just been right clicking "set as desktop" off the images themselves. I haven't added any folder to the desktop/wallpaper preferences pane - is this why my wallpaper last night didn't "stick" after shutting down? It went back to the default wallpaper this morning when I turned it on.

So far it's been very intuitive and easy to learn and convert from windows though!

i was going to buy 27" apple cinema display in a few months. but i saw that it has "Buy only if you need it - Approaching the end of a cycle" status in buyer's guide. i dont really need it so much and i can wait.
so when can it get updated? i havnt heard any rumors about it. and what is going to get improved?

i half switched but still
when i was 7 we had a pb 100 with a stylewriter very cool but the power books mother board fryed when some one (not mentioning any names) puged an adb mouse in when it was turned on!!!
when i was about 11 we needed a computer so we went out and got a pc mag about 2 weeks later we were set to get a pile of crap from gateway then my dad saw a mac mag with an imac on the front so he called apple and got pissed of about there phone information as the guy on the line was compleatly incompadent and took it out on computers in genral so delayed our purchace a few months.......
a few months later he saw a cube a few months later...
2000 odd pounds of savings= a power mac g4 cube+15" apple studio display + epson 880 and a beta copy of osx.
2 weeks later one 12 year old mac expert
(i mean expert I fixed my freinds macs for them and made a tidy prophet too)
I also got my own ibook 12" 600 cd at the age of 14 (I got it for school as my hand writing is awfull (not to mention my spelling)
my school is macaphobic
the head of iT "dont plug your ibook into the network it could make our server crash"!
now my school has ordered 10 imacs and 2 pm g5's.

I'm a teacher who has brought his class every year to MacWorld. We always come on Friday. I don't think that any booths close down on Friday until the late afternoon. My kids like the fact that vendors are more willing to give away free stuff on Fridays.

In 90% of what we say, does it have any point to it? You say, "Hello." What's the Point? You already know that you know them, and they know that you know them; therefore is there any point in saying hello, if you can just smile, showing you've acknowledged them. When you make a mistake don't get down about it - laugh it off, it'll "lengthen our own life"; however, if you laugh at a person who made a mistake, you'll make them get down about it, therefore, "shortening their's." It also may be referring to suicide, but I haven't read the context - Hellhammer, Herdfan: if you feel you're about to commit suicide, DON'T listen to Adele. :)
Basically, don't laugh at other people's mistakes; both of them were innocent mistakes - there's no need to point them out - they know what they did, even if it's subconscious - we know what they mean.
